SBI partners with NSA to develop a TV conference series on social enterprises and public services

SBI has helped Neil Stuart Associates and Policy Review TV create a series of  ground breaking events about forming employee mutuals and social enterprises to deliver public services.

The series looks at the key issues involved in public service employees creating new social enterprises to run services, with presentations from expert speakers and case studies of successful examples. All the events are filmed and are broadcast live over the internet.  Together the presentations from the series will build into an online resource bank to provide information for public bodies and staff who might want to establish a new social enterprise.

Jonathan Bland of SBI helped bring together the partnership which is creating the series.   He is also the conference chairman for the programme of events, which was launched in London on the 3rd of March 2011. The first five events run until June 2011.
